New Cover for Winter Soulstice!

I just got my cover art for my upcoming release, Winter Soulstice, my short erotic contemporary novella with a paranormal twist. Winter Soulstice will be released this winter from Cobblestone Press. You can take a look at all of the wonderful Cobblestone authors at the website:
Check my website for the release date this winter!
My Cobblestone author of the day is Shelli Stevens. This is a fabulous author! She writes spicy romance with a sense of humor, something I don't see enough of. Check out her current releases, Tourist Attraction and The Pirate's Booty, available now!
I'm in the home stretch on revisions for my first Bantam book, The Dark Garden. I've done the work, now I'm giving it a final read to check for consistency. It'll be out the door by Monday night.
On Tuesday I'm off to Atlanta for the Romance Writers of America national conference, which should be fun and informative, and a great opportunity to network with other writers and people in the publishing industry. I'll try to post again before I go. Now, back to work!

Check out this new release!
I write erotica, but I read mostly chick lit and romantic comedy. My own work is pretty dark and emotional, so sometimes I need a break from my own drama-LOL! Check out new chick lit author Amanda Brice's book, She's Got Legs, available now from Freya's Bower!
Here's a little taste of She's Got Legs:
When the Clock Strikes Daria Wyatt didn't want to go to her fifteen-year high school reunion. Although she has blossomed from a wallflower into a powerful Capitol Hill attorney, she knew seeing those girls in person wouldn't exactly do wonders for her self-esteem. If only her younger sister Kara hadn't insisted she go. Giving in to shut her sister up, Daria borrows Kara's high heels in an effort to jumpstart her confidence. But in her rush to get out the door, she picks up the wrong pair, a butt-ugly purple platform creation with bright green sequins... After Midnight Greg McCauley can't believe his bad luck. He finally meets a beautiful, intelligent, intriguing, confident woman, but she rushes off before he can get her number. He knows he should put her out of his mind, but there's just something about her. Those lips, those eyes, those legs, those crazy shoes...
And check out Amanda's blog:

Sold to Cobblestone Press!
This actually happened a few days ago, but I've been terribly remiss in posting about it here...I just contracted Winter Soulstice, my contemporary erotic romance with a parnaormal twist, to Cobblestone Press. They are a new e-publisher, but I really like what they're doing. They've contracted some really wonderful authors, and as an added bonus, they do gorgeous cover work! Be sure to check them out:
Here's a blurb about my upcoming story with Cobblestone Press, Winter Soulstice:

A chance storm on December 21st, the Winter Solstice, drives psychologist Destiny Walker to a spontaneous consultation with a fortune-teller. When the psychic tells her she’s about to meet her soul mate, Destiny is dubious.
But when she runs into Superman look-alike Reece Kellan—literally—her rational world is turned upside down. Reece is funny, kind, and the sexiest man she’s ever seen. And when their bodies meet, the electricity they create could rival the storm raging outside. But there’s something more there, something mysterious, alluring and a little frightening. Is it possible the psychic was right, after all?

Check here and at my website for updates about the release date for Winter Soulstice and more!

My Phaze Samba story, Isle of Desire, is due to be released later this month. I love this story- it's so sexy and emotional, my favorite combination. The island destination I chose, Isla de Margarita, off the coast of Venezuela, is gorgeous! I did quite a bit of research, as I wanted to make sure I had the feel of the place. Now I'm dying to go there. The island is in the Caribbean, so that means white sand beaches, and the jewel-toned sea is like no other ocean I've seen. I've been to several other spots on the Caribbean: Jamiaca, the US Virgin Islands, Cancun, but this little island is a must in my future travel plans. Once I meet my writing deadlines, that is.

Currently, my deadlines seem endless! I'm deep into revisions on The Dark Garden for Bantam. The work is making my brain hurt, but my editor's suggestions are brilliant-she really knows how to make this the best book it can be. I think I'll come out of this as a better writer, as well. I'm anxious to get these revisions done and get back to writing The Lair, which is due September 1st. But meanwhile, the characters from Love & Discipline, the last in the three-novella antholgy which includes The Lair and The Bonds of Love, are talking to me every day. I'm making notes like crazy, which is good. When I finally get to this story, I'll really know my characters. Hopefully I can finish my revisions on The Dark Garden and get back to my other stories by the end of next week.

My featured fellow author for today is Tawny Taylor. She writes hot and sassy erotic fiction. This is one really talented writer! Take a look at her website:

Back to work for now!
